ANZAC Day Poem by Henry

Blood, gooey dirt, dead friends.
Guns loading, big BANGS, people crying.
Really scared, sad.
I want to come home, I miss you.

ANZAC Day Poem by Mary

Bullets whizzing past, bombs exploding, gooey squelching mud.
People screaming, hearts beating, bullets firing.
Freaked out, frightened and missing my family.

ANZAC Day Poem by Ben

Bullets whizzing past, blood all over, people running as fast as they can.
Bombs exploding, guns firing, screaming.
Brave, sick, weak.
The final bullet whizzing right at me, falling to the ground.

ANZAC Day Poem by Ella

Bullets whizzing past, smoke, enemies everywhere.
Wild animals closing in, BANGS, screaming and wild crying.
Homesick, missing family and afraid...

ANZAC Day Poem by Grace

Bullets whizzing past, enemies, dead friends.
Bombs exploding, tanks, screaming, people running as fast as they can.
Homesick, missing my family, hungry, sad and proud.

ANZAC Day Poem by Megan

Enemies all around me, using guns to make blood and smoke.
Bombs exploding, making bangs, moaning and screaming in my head.
I am homesick, hungry and scared.
